Just a random update on life

I bought a new DSlite on Friday. It's turquoise and ohsopretty ^^

I also got TWEWY, and decided that I want the soundtrack (best track=02 "Call Me")on my ipod and to cosplay Uziki Yashiro (pink haired Reaper). I'm currently on day 7 of week 2 8D

not much else to say other than 15 days until the sleepover! It's gonna be damn awesome (if me and Holly don't end up in Alaska xD)

OMG that was possibly the best Recon ever!
It was held in Borders, which is dead near where I live, so it was a good chance to find my local fellow manga geeks xD

I got there about half an hour early, so once I'd got changed into my Zelda cosplay in the loos (I got really wierd looks when I was fixing my hair in the mirror lols) I walked around the store, seeing if there were any other earlies ^^

To my luck, there was so I made friends with a bunch of lovely randomers with awesome fashion sense (trilbys=win).

At 6oClock, we made our way over to where the Recon was being held. A couple of minutes late (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN) but I felt dead popular when Hol, Kayla, Zoe, Al-X and Al called over to me xD and the awesome people from Chester Recon were there too, scaring Nick (the Tokyopop dude who hosts these events. Complete Ledge)

So ther was the bit where we found out what books were to be released (with Nick's slightly bored sounding comments. Poor guy, he's gone through the same talk Godknows how many times)and I was stood by A Peach cosplyer (who was one of the nicest people EVER and she looked completely gorgeous in her costume which she wore to her prom!) and a Link (I found a Link ^^ I was so happy)

After the talk, I submitted my art entry (Cel-shaded Love: [link]) and went to talk to my awesome awesome friends. You all looked FABULOUS in your costumes xD
Hol and Zoe were people from DragonballZ
Alex was Shizuku (spelling?) from King of Thorn
Kayla was Sensei from Loveless
Alistair was Alistair xD
and Freya was there! as Haruhi! *Hare hare Yukai*

Quiz time! I got the answers all wrong as usual (3rd time doing that quiz). I remembered to tag Nick (cross-country game of Tag) so he declared war on Hyrule D<

Cosplay contest! there were 29 entries which was dead impressive, and only a few Narutads xD
Peach came first so I was happy ^^ (she was such a nice person ^^)
After the raffle and art contest results (Zoe came second XD) it was home time, but we hung around because we felt like it. I found out the I was second in the cosplay (I love you Zelda fans ^^)

Despite a little bit of kicking off from some Rozen Maiden cosplayers (who said cosplay was restricted to manga and anime?) it was an awesome and i can't wait for the next one!
oh yeah, some person off a forum I was one recognised me, so that was dead good too xD

BEST MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: When in the queue for Starbucks, a really cute little girl came up to me with her mum and asked me if I was a princess. Of course I said yes (kid's dreams and all that) a so she asked me where I came from, so i said Hyrule.
I squeed for AGES after that ^^
