Another drawing of Layla Constantia. Like most of my pictures nowadays, this originated from a sketch in the margins of my notes from a REALLY boring lecture. I feel like a bad student ;.;
Layla is sad because she can't reach the outstreched hand, due to the glass wall. I guess this is symbolic of being trapped and bound by her royal heritage. I know who's hand is reaching to her, but I won't say~
I tried really hard to get her hair right this time. I'm much happier with it's colour here, than in the previous picture. Not to sound braggy, but I am really quite pleased with how this picture turned out in general, especially the shading. The hands still bug me a little >.<

The glass metaphore reminds me of Tsubasa with Souran and Sakura at the beginning, mostly due to the focus on the handsand Sakura wore pretty dresses too but overall they have very little in common except the sadness of fate.
Anyway as crazedteensieofdoom said lovely folds in her dress, cloth wrinkles are so hard to get right D8 and your shading is so soft and ahh~~~ The feel of your pictures is so nice because you have a lovely style =3
